Keep Rockn... J.P. Hello All, I was wanted to tell yall how this all came to be. Back 1988-1989 I was taking broadcasting in high school. At first I co-hosted a show Wild Bill"s Top 5 at 4. Well after the end of the school year Bill graduated and it was my turn. So that summer in a gravel driveway in Sardis,Ms Hot Trax was born. At first the show was an hour 50's and 60's show but after a few months it just did not work. So I changed the format to rock'n' roll cause I'm a rocker at heart. After the change things got better. The show took off more people were listening calling in and being part of the show. Just about the best way to judge how you are doing is getting a response.So the show was going well, it was time to change some things . So I took on a co-host sonja, she was a first year student and a great help on the show. It was fun, soon after we went 2 hours and I was loving it. Then it came .. I got my shot at a REAL station. Yes it was a country station in northern ms. but it was radio . With that I had to leave the show.So I left it with Sonja and it went on for a very little while and went away. My time in MS. was fun I learned alot. At one point I was working at 2 stations at one time but I got fired!!! That really sucked. So I had to work . Retail was the place for me. And 22 years later still is.. But I never stoped wanting to be on the air. Then one dayat the gym I read in a mag about podcasting. I got real excited . So I bought the equipment and got started. Well when it comes to computers I'm not the smartest so it took almost 2 years to figure all this stuff out. I was to pridefull to ask for help. So we got it , the people at go daddy think I'm nuts . Little do they know. I spent most of 08' doing practice shows and finally at the end of the year it all came together.And in early 09' Hot Trax was brought back to life. So there it is my story in a nutt shell. I hope you enjoy the show and all the stuff I do,it's not all about the music it's about having fun making a dream come true. When I say don't ever stop rockn' I mean it cause I never have and don't plan for a very very long time..
